Okay...it seems that an exploding fireball is a bolide. Which is essentially a
fireball experiencing a terminal burst. Now is there a special name given for
a non-fireball...that is a regular meteor of let's say magnitude +2 that has a
terminal burst or explodes? I've never heard of one...but everything that is
the cause for a fireball to explode is the same for a small meteor to explode.
The only difference is in brightness.
