first Leonid appeared at 2:43 E.S.T. total of 26 observed by 3:43 E.S.T.
wide dispersal pattern, very distant from the radiant point. Short duration
for most, several with a beautiful shade of green. Most arrived in
clusters of
three or four per minute followed by long periods of inactivity.
