WHAT IS THE REAL VALUE OF AN OLD METEORITE???

But now I thinking that will go over my reserve price ?.
Also it takes all the romance of BIDING and fighting for some thing that 
some people want for no matter what !!!

No, not really.  How does it "protect" anything.  I mean, why not just
start
the opening bid at the "reserve" price and if you get only bid, it will,sell 
at the price you want.
