eBay sale and a Question regarding South American meteorites

I guess that with the worlds "ebay" and "sale" in the same heading I have
lost half of the list members but I have just started 6 meteorites on eBay
with a penny starting bid with no reserve. PAMPA-A, PAMPA-B, PAMPA-C, (Yes,
I actually have all 3) IMILAC, VACA MUERTA and a nice 1.8 Kilo Campo with
lots of Character to it.
My question about South American meteorites is "Why are there so few of
them". The deserts in the USA, Australia and Africa have yielded litterally
thousands but hardly any from the worlds driest desert in South America. Is
the answer simply that there are fewer people searching for them there and
so they are all over the place just waiting to be found or is some other
force like El Nino at work here? I spend about 6 weeks a year in south
America so I am hoping that the first thoery is the correct one.
If you are interested in my eBay auctions follow the link below or do a
search on my user id (amunre). On another note I have lost my internet
access over the weekend due to my moving residences so my apologies to the
several dozen people that have sent me e-mails placing orders. I am not
ignoring you. I will get back to you later tonight or tomorrow. See my eBay
auctions here. (Only a few now but rest assured that I will again have a lot
of auctions running by the weekend:
