In 1997 when I visited with Mr. Silva, who was still the mayor of La =
Criolla, Entre Rios, Argentina, he pronounced it La Cri o Ja. I am =
told that in Castilian Spanish which the Argentineans speak the LL is =
pronounced as a "J".
