[meteorite-list] Export permits and African meteorites

Quite possibly so Dave. He did say they were not CURRENTLY getting any
African meteorites. Besides, my comments were more to say that there is
some issue with lack of export permits with the desert meteorites (although
no names were mentioned at all).

I doubt if Tim said that they have no (NO, none zip, etc) African
meteorites.
The main point of his comment is what you said: "export permits" and what
you
inferred (or didn't as the case may be) as "verification". Anybody who has
seen
the collection knows that there are tons of African meteorites, justno
SaharaXXX, etc.
