Drummond, I believe you are correct. According to my reference material:
Conversions-
Carats (gold)........Milligrams/gram..............41.666
Carats (metric)......Grains............................3.0865
                             Grams............................0.2
                             Milligrams.......................200
Grams...................Carats (metric)................5
