"The Woodleigh impact also coincides with slightly smaller impact events identified in
other parts of the world. Woodleigh thus constitutes the largest member of a cluster of
Late Devonian impacts, which include Alamo Breccia, USA (100 km), Charlevoix, Canada (54
km); Siljan, Sweden (52 km); Ternovka, Ukraine (15 km); and Kaluga, Russia (15 km). Other
evidence reported in support of Late Devonian extraterrestrial impacts includes the
iridium anomaly in the Canning Basin, Western Australia, and microtektites (glassy
meteorite) and elemental anomalies (including iridium) from Hunan in South China and
Alberta in Canada. "
