Meteoric Stone - Prof. Foest, in his Geological Report to the Legislature of
Tennessee, descibes a meteoric stone which fell near Crosby's Creek. The
original weight of which was tw thousand pounds. It is not known where it
fell.


(Mark Note: Crosby's Creek is an Octahedrite that weighed 958kg found in
Cocke Co, Tennessee during 1837.)
