Nininger were in my office on January 17, to the effe= ct that you proposed to make a grant of $2000.00 to the University of Ari= zona to promote meteorite research and collection by Dr. Nininger, accord= ing to the terms that will be mutually agreed upon between Dr. Nininger a= nd the University. I have a committee that has met to discuss this proposal, and I believe t= hat I shall have a report from this committee today and an answer for Dr.= Nininger as soon as he returns from Mexico.
