Dear Mike, Walter;
A picture of "as found" and a sample of dirt from the location, and of
location stratigraphy/surface soils type, and having that same soil
plastered on the bottom of the meteorite A (and inbedded in the patina)
would be part of a plan of action.
Yes, this could become an issue, especially with some without morals.
