[meteorite-list] I'm going to start scouring California Dry lakes.

Mike & ALL,

Don't get me wrong. It would be a great day for me if
I met you out there! I just think you have more to
offer the world if you held on to some semblance of
sanity. (Sure you should try it. Insanity loves
company!)

After a couple of weeks away, I forget what it's like
and start to get romantically inclined once again. It
is very much like playing Nevada's slots. You take a
whipping, go home, and forget. Then you do it again.
About every 20th time, you win and all the losses are
forgotten. It is a phenominal feeling when you see
all the sevens click into place---and I'm looking
forward to the next time, and wish the same for all,
but don't mistake the smiling pictures of the winners
as the "average" behind all those bright lights and
big buildings! Someone pays for them.

I found a killer last week. Got down on my knees,
took pictures from all angles. Sweet! Plucked it
from the ground, filed the corner. Checked the
magnet. It wasn't one.

The thrill was real for a few seconds---

Hope to see you out there. Don't carry any sharp
objects. Show behaviors expressing non-agression.
Don't thump your chest and yodel like tarzan. The
guys you meet out there may well be nuts!

I are one.
