Hello List and Steve,

Here was my thought process when I read about
Steve's offering:

If you were browsing the DVD selections at Best Buy
or something, and you came across an ~ 1 hr long DVD
about hunting meteorites and showing them in situ just
seconds after their discovery, and the price was under
$15.00, would you even have to ask yourself if that
was something you might like to see and own???? I
wish there were DOZENS of such DVDs about different
meteorite hunting trips. Unfortunately, there are
none.

Obviously, with Steve's every-day-guys's budget and
equipment, this DVD is not "Discovery Channel"
quality. But it is very entertaining, and gives you a
real feeling of what hunting meteorites there is like.
And I for one could NEVER get enough of seeing freshly
discovered meteorites just sitting there as found.
Sure the DVD suffers from a few "rough spots" here and
there, just like I would bet ALL of our own homemade
videos do. But overall, I'm glad I got a copy of it
and will watch it several times I'm sure with friends,
pausing it at times to say "Man! LOOK at that beauty
just sitting there waiting to be picked up!"

Like I said, maybe its just me, but I am definitely
glad Steve made this available to us. Its not perfect,
but it was well worth the price in my opinion.

I give it a "Thumbs Print Up". ;-)

  Robert Woolard
