Hello Larry and List,

I also have quite a few irons from Franconia that show what appear to be
impact craters in them.

Here is a slice of the Franconia H5 actually showing one on the
controversial irons that was in the process of separating from it's
chondrite parent. Or at least this is how it looks to an amateur ;) At any
rate these are very interesting photos...
