Hello Jeff and List,

Maybe Jeff Grossman and/or colleagues would be interested in re-examining
the Selakopi and Glanggang meteorites with the more refined possibilities
that are available and applicable nowadays. More than 20 years have passed
since Fredriksson K. and Peretsman G.S. wrote in 1982: "it is recommended
that separate names be maintained for these meteorites until further, more
definitive investigations have been made.

Here is the breakdown of an article in MAPS that deals with the pairing
problem in every conceivable detail =>

BENOIT P.H. et al. (2000) The non-trivial problem of meteorite pairing
(MAPS 35-2, 2000, 393-417):

a) Introduction
b) The Philosophy of Pairing
     - a probability approach
     - pairing criteria
     - bulk elemental and isotopic concentrations
     - stable isotope abundance and formation ages
     - mineral / component abundance and compositions
     - petrographic texture
     - cosmogenic noble gases
     - shape and size
     - number of specimens / size of pairing group
     - terrestrial age
     - degree of weathering
     - natural thermoluminescence
c) The Mechanics of Pairing and Degrees of Uncertainty
d) A Compilation of Proposed Pairings
e) Three Examples
f) Conclusions
