Cassini Imaging Team
September 29, 2005

Cassini completed its recent double-header of flybys on September
26, with a spectacular 500 kilometer (310 mile) pass above the
oddly modified surface of Hyperion.

Hyperion reveals crisp details and differences in color across the
strange, tumbling moon's surface that could represent differences
in the composition of surface materials.

resolution Cassini mosaic shows that Hyperion truly has a surface
different from any other in the Saturn system.
