Hey, don't worry about it Mike!
If I'd known that by collecting meteorites some people
would regard me as a "pirate" or a "smuggler" I'd have
started collecting years ago.
The truth of it is that many of my students actually
think the stuff you guys sell me is cool and love
being able to touch it. It's the most kudos I've ever
had as a teacher.
If I told them the "pirate" part too they'd probably
all be jumping on ebay to become one! (But the parents
might complain and I may get into bother)
If these "scientists" had their way, they'd be
collecting dust in a drawer. The "environmentalists"
would rather see them decay in a field and don't get
me started on "politicians".

You're all going to keep collecting and selling, we're
going to keep buying them and the other lot will keep
moaning. Long may the status quo continue. They
shouldn't be on this list it's true but at least here
we can feel safe surrounded by our own kind....oh, and
there's always the spam button but where would the fun
in that be?

OOps! Gotta go! I believe I just saw Boba Fett coming
to get me!
