Hi -

Given the accuracy of archaeological dating in 1948, you probably want to be real suspicious of the published -300 (300 BCE) fall date.

Another item to keep in mind: often everything was assumed to be Brenham, and that likely was not so. Bernd sent us (if I remember) that link to the paper on Ohio "Hopewell" meteoritic artifacts, which showed that they were different.
