Obviously you don't want anything to do with this gift, but that might also be something you, and others, can inform anyone who contacts you in the future.

"Do not send it. I don't want it. If you do send it the US Post Office considers it a gift and I am under no obligation to give you one cent for it."

That might help keep your mailbox from being fouled with crap just a small bit.
