I've been following this auction and here are the seller's additional statements...


On May-04-12 at 11:54:58 PDT, seller added the following information:
I added a picture of the area where the crust is missing. Its very hard to photograph the actual details.
Also sorry if I have not replied to all the questions but I just cant keep up with all of them.

On May-04-12 at 22:57:34 PDT, seller added the following information:
I am placing this auction on hold until I meet with experts this weekend. So all bids after 10;54 pm friday night 5/4/2012 will be cancelled until further notice.

On May-05-12 at 13:34:19 PDT, seller added the following information:
After Peter Jenniskens had a chance to look at the item it has been determined that it is NOT a Coloma meteorite.
I will talk with ebay about removing the item.
Just a note of CAUTION about a person claiming to be NASA and trying to get people to donate all or a portion of your find.
