[meteorite-list] Ebays new shipping policy

I actually listed some items on eBay a couple weeks ago for the first time
in 10 months. I believe I did fairly well and the format was amazingly the
same as I left it almost a year ago, I was shocked actually!

I made the big change last year and finally built a web site to offer items
for sale, but more importantly to share articles and expeditions... It was a
lot of hard work building it and learning new things, but my efforts paid
off as I believe many folks enjoy what I have created! I was also able to
'remodel' the old Lunar Rock web site as well to incorporate all of the
planetary meteorites we have been part of. Oh ya, and on the web site I can
let people pay by check whereas eBay will not allow such a payment plan, in
fact I encourage people to pay by check or bank wire transfer to save on
PayPal fees which most gladly do!! ;-)

Best Regards,
Greg

There sure seems to be a ton of meteorite dealers on Ebay. I look
around at other sites on the web and see no dealers taking advantage
of them or any attempt in spreading ones wings. Why is that when Ebay
is all about squeezing you for their benefit...not yours or your
customers???
Is it such no one will venture out of a comfort zone or????
