Thanks for your response, but if that?s true, Erg Chech 002 should have like 30 different NWA numbers. Same with 869 and Al Haggounia 001 and about a thousand other NWAs. The Martian is unique looking enough and has a unique-ish composition, was all found around the same time and submitted around the same time. It?s all the same material. Just because it was sold to a handful of dealers shouldn?t mean it?s a handful of different meteorites (opinion).

That?s the way it?s supposed to be. There is no self pairing with the ?same? meteorites from dense collection areas.
