Re: NO, NO, NO MR. STROIK.

Dear Frank,
It would be greatly dissapointing were you to leave the list. No one
else has come close to contributing to meteoritic understanding among
the membership.
If you feel the real need to depart, again, I wish to encourage you
fervently to publish a book on a taxon of meteorites and implied
origins. If you do not wish to "hassle" with publishing it, just write
it and I will have it published (with you retaining full authorship
royalties, of course).
I am not completely clear as to the source of your feeling compelled to
leave - I know of at least two seperate individuals who are imagining
they pushed you "over the edge." I do know that a newsletter, the make
up of which is largely collectors, will always address buying and
selling to some degree. But now I am starting to feel parainoid myself,
simply for mentioning the topic.
Do sincerely whish you would stay "plugged in" at least to the degree
of checking posts with your triggre finger on the dlete button, but
ready to comment on the mysteries of meteoritics as we all know only you
can do.........
DON'T LEAVE US, FRANKY BOY, WE NEED YOU.... Michael
