Re: Fw: Meteorite "worth"

<< "Debating" who is "right" or "wrong" is futile - apples, oranges, etc.
One "argument" is as "valid" as the next. It seems to me y'all ar
engaged in a sophmoric argument centered on semantics, but, if it
tickles you, go for it, I can always delete.

Hmmm. I didn't think there were too many semantics flyin' about, just
interesting and differing points of view. As long as things don't get
personal and insulting I enjoy all this to-ing and fro-ing, it makes me
re-assess my position and put myself in someone else's shoes.

And it makes me appreciate my humble collection even more too: my little
Holbrook might look like a black M&M, but it's *my* black M&M, and sits in
the same box as *my* Canyon Diablo, *my* Gibeon and *my* tektites. even
though some of the people on this List would probably look upon them as very
minor specimens they all mean a lot to me - sniff! - and I can't see the day
when I'll be able to afford any better ones. That just makes it even
intriguing following these discussions between more succesful and affluent
collectors who share my passion for starstones. Makes me realise we all can
have stars in our eyes sometimes.

Personally I don't like deleting like that. I worry about missing words of
wisdom from people on the List with waaaaaaay more experience than me. But
hey... I'm easily tickled... :-)

Best wishes from a rain-lashed northern England,

Stu
