The Denver Show from a newbie point of view

Thanks to all who gave me info, etc. on the Denver Show. I went and
thought I might share what it's like for a novice. In spite of finding
the locations, getting the show guide, checking the bulletin boards,
etc. it was still difficult to find people. The sheer numbers of
people, buying and selling, was overwhelming. (I couldn't even guess
what the total value of the inventory of all the sellers must have been
but it was incredible.) Most of the meteorite folks I found were at the
Holiday Inn North --- only found one meteorite dealer at the Merch.
Mart, but that place is so huge, I could have missed someone. Didn't
even have time to check out any of the other locations. I did find the
LeBenne's, Michael Casper, Blaine Reed, Magic Mtn. Gems, the young
French couple from The Earth Memory, and Geoff Cintron. I was told that
Bob Haag was at the Mart for one day and then left. I saw loads of
beautiful and interesting meteorites, spent too much money, learned a
lot, and met some nice folks. Hopefully, by next year, I will be better
prepared. It sure would be helpful if they put all the meteorite people
in one general area and it would be nice to know how to find folks who
don't have a room or booth set up somewhere. I found Geoff through his
cell phone and that turned out to be the best way to locate people.
Sorry I missed the others from here on our list who were there.
