Good topic,

My first was a beautiful slice of El Hammami purchased in 1996 from
Robert Szep. He was prominent in those days and partnered with Roman
Jirasek in publishing the original meteorite calendar.

A few weeks later I purchased a small end cut of Allende.

I quickly fell in love with chondrites and have never been big on
irons. My pocket book dictated that I needed to narrow my desires and
since I first had chondrites I stayed with chondrites. Even with this
philosophy my pocket book did suffer. ;>)

Cheers!

tett
